Project Overview
12th St. Bakery is a self-initiated brand identity concept for a local organic, gluten-free bakery. The goal was to create a warm and recognizable brand that feels connected to a charming neighborhood atmosphere.


Challenge
The challenge was creating a visual identity that balanced traditional bakery qualities with a fresh, modern feel. The brand needed to feel welcoming while clearly communicating quality and care while becoming instantly recognizable.












Process & Design Solutions
The concept focused on creating a simple identity system built around familiarity, approachability, and versatility. Typography, icon design, and overall style were carefully considered to reflect the bakery’s personality and values.
The logo combines playful handwritten typography with a cookie icon featuring a bite mark, creating an instantly recognizable symbol. The design uses a mix of traditional and casual elements to create a friendly, memorable visual identity.
Application
The identity was designed to work across multiple platforms, including merchandise, websites, apps, packaging, and digital icons. The simple structure allows the brand to remain recognizable at different sizes.






Reflection
This project focused on showing how thoughtful design choices can communicate a brand’s personality without overcomplicating the identity. The final result creates a balance between homemade charm and professional presentation.
